City of Knox shares Family Fun Day schedule

The City of Knox has shared its schedule of events for this year’s Family Fun Day.

Family Fun Day is scheduled to take place Saturday, June 27th and will be held at Wythogan Park.

The day will kick off at 1pm Central Time with the 4th of July Parade. At 2pm, gates and food vendors will open at Wythogan Park. The event will feature Jam karaoke, face painting by Party Art Entertainment, and kids games throughout the afternoon and evening.

There will be a cornhole tournament at 3pm, with registration beginning at 2pm. It is a Blind Draw, $15 per person with 100% payout. Boards are provided, bags are optional.

There will also be a Yellow River duck race taking place at Shelter #1 in the park, with a $300 first place prize, $200 second place prize, and $100 for third place. Duck Race registration also begins at 2pm, with the race itself to begin at 4:30pm. The entry fee is $5 per duck, or a flock of 5 for $20.

At 5pm on the dance floor at the stage, there will be a magic show by Kalita, Master of Magic. The Pro Wrestling King will make an appearance from 6-8:30pm, and from 6-9pm Half Track will be playing classic to current rock and roll hits.

There will be helicopter rides available, giant hamster balls, a bounce house, and to celebrate our country’s 250th anniversary, there will be a grand fireworks show to begin at 9:30pm Central Time.
