Knox City Council to meet tomorrow, June 23

The Knox City Council will be holding a regular meeting tomorrow, Tuesday June 23rd.

The meeting will be held at 5pm Central Time at Knox City Hall, located at 101 West Washington Street in Knox.

Councilors will make any necessary amendments to the agenda and vote on the approval of minutes of its special meeting with the Redevelopment Commission, and the approval of minutes from its regular meeting on May 26th.

There will then be a space for citizen’s comments, followed by discussion on a confirmatory resolution tax abatement with JW Hicks.

Next, councilors will discuss an ordinance that establishes a development fees fund. This will be the first and final reading with a vote for adoption to be held.

The council members will discuss a livestream project proposal before discussing the clerk-treasurer’s report, the mayor’s report, and council items.

Following the signing of vouchers, the council will hold a work session with Redevelopment Commission, before adjourning.
