
The Knox Community School Corporation has announced a regular school board meeting followed by an executive session this upcoming Monday, June 15th.
The meeting will begin at 6pm Central Time with the Executive Session scheduled to begin at approximately 7pm.
The regular meeting, which is open to the public, will take place at the Administrative Office, located at #2 Redskin Trail in Knox.
Items on the agenda include but are not limited to a section for public comment, as well as a personnel report. The personnel report includes two resignations, and the recommendation of an outside consultant.
Under the Business section of the agenda, board members will review the Treasurer’s Report as well as a Vendor Usage report. The Superintendent will recommend the approval of claims, and an affidavit for payment.
Board members will vote on the approval of the staff handbook that was presented on June 1st, and a donation from the Starke County Resource Center. A Food Service Bid recommendation will be made, and Miss Peggy Shidaker will be recognized by the Superintendent and Board.
After any comments or questions from administrators, and the board, as well as any public comments on items not on the agenda, the meeting will be adjourned.
The executive session directly following the school board meeting will be in regards to receiving information about and interviewing prospective employees, and to discuss a job performance evaluation of individual employees.
While the public is invited to the regular school board meeting, executive sessions are closed to the public.
