A reminder that the City of Knox will host its 3rd annual Battle of the Bands competition this Saturday.
Before the music gets going, Street Freaks Car Club will have a cruise-in with entertainment, refreshments for sale, and trophies awarded for Top 5. The cars will start rolling in at 2:30pm Central Time, and will park on the ball diamond.
The live music is set to start at 3pm, with the Battle of the Bands competition beginning at 5pm.
There will be six local bands competing this year for a $750 grand prize. Groups competing this year include No Refund, Half Jacked, Fried Turtles, Small-Town Outlaws, Ozzy’s Clubhouse, and the Jolly Roger House Band.
The community is invited to attend this event on Saturday at Wythogan, beginning with the cruise-in at 2:30pm Central Time.
