Knox Community School Board to meet Monday evening

The Knox Community School Board will hold a regular meeting this upcoming Monday, July 20th. The meeting is scheduled for 6pm Central Time at the Knox Community School Corporation Administrative Office.

Following a portion of the meeting for public comment, board members will consider multiple personnel recommendations including three resignations, a new hire, staff transfers, and extracurricular appointments for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.

Board members will also receive a treasurer’s report, a vendor usage report, proposed NEOLA administrative guidelines, and an affidavit for payment and updates on the Knox Middle School construction project.

The board will also discuss the approval of a memorandum of understanding with Bowen Health, as well as field trips and fundraisers for the upcoming school year, the student handbook, and breakfast and lunch prices.

If approved, meal prices for the upcoming school year would be $1.75 for breakfast at all schools, $2.60 for lunch at the elementary school, $2.85 for lunch at the middle and high school, and $2.75 for adult breakfast and $5 for adult lunch.

After public comment on non-agenda items, and comments from administrators and board members, the meeting will be adjourned.
