Knox High School shared an announcement yesterday, with a safety reminder for those needing to drive through the west parking lot of the school.
The announcement reminds drivers to follow the posted speed limit and stay close to the sidewalk side of the parking lot, closest to the High School auditorium, in order to help students stay safe.
Band Camp has started for the summer, and practices in the west lot. Additionally, Marching Band class is also held outside on the west lot in the afternoons once school starts.
Students will be in the lot for practice on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and drivers are reminded to pay attention, take alternate routes when available, and drive carefully.
