The Knox Park Board will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, July 28th, at 5:30pm Central Time at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center.
Board members will consider the approval of minutes from their June 18th meeting before reviewing financial reports.
Under new business, park employees are expected to discuss plans to fill cracks on the pickleball courts. The board will also receive updates on estimates for installing lights at the basketball courts and on the pickleball courts, with vendors having been contacted for both projects.
Board members will also discuss repairs to the scoreboards at Fields 1 and 2 after they were struck by lightning. Insurance has been notified, and repair estimates have been submitted.
In addition, the board will discuss checking sidewalks between the splash pad, bathrooms and Shelter 1 for Americans with Disabilities Act compliance.
The meeting will also include an opportunity for public comment before board member comments. The public is invited to attend this meeting.
