The John Glenn School Corporation’s School Board will meet Tuesday, August 18th, at 7pm Central Time at the John Glenn Administration Building, at 101 John Glenn Drive in Walkerton.
Following building recognitions and public comment, the board is expected to consider minutes from the August 4th regular session, vouchers, personnel recommendations and transfer student requests.
Under new business, board members will consider approving an out-of-district bus stop at American Legion Post 357.
The board will then consider approval of overnight athletic and FFA field trips for the 2026-2027 school year.
Board members are also expected to consider a purchase of more than $75,000 for roofing at North Liberty Elementary.
The board will hear reports from the assistant superintendent and superintendent, along with conference requests, before board comments and questions.
The agenda also lists upcoming events including John Glenn High School Picture Day on Wednesday, August 19th, and Urey Middle School Picture Day on Friday, August 21st.
The next John Glenn School Board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 1st, at 7pm.
This meeting is open to the public.
