
The Knox City Council has announced that it will be holding a special meeting this Wednesday, August 5th.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5pm Central Time and will be held at Knox City Hall, located at 101 West Washington Street in Knox.
After the meeting is called to order and any amendments are made to the agenda, councilors will discuss Ordinance 2026-OR5, which establishes a fund for building and construction-related fees. The council will also discuss the repealing of ordinances that conflict with this one.
This meeting will feature the first and second reading of the ordinance and possible adoption after a vote by the council.
Councilors will also discuss a donation of $2500 from Knox Main Street United, for the city’s Octoberfest celebration.
After these topics, the meeting will be adjourned. The public is invited to attend this meeting.
