Indiana residents will have one final opportunity to fish without a license this year during the state’s Free Fishing Day Saturday.
According to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, on Saturday, September 26th, Hoosiers can fish Indiana’s public waters without a fishing license or trout and salmon stamp.
All other fishing regulations remain in effect, including seasons, bag limits and size limits.
The Free Fishing Day coincides with National Public Lands Day and National Hunting and Fishing Day.
