The Wythogan Park splash pad in Knox will soon close for the season.
Knox Mayor Dennis Estok shared an announcement with WKVI on Tuesday that stated that the splash pad will close for the season Monday, October 5th.
The splash pad has been a seasonal attraction at Wythogan Park since it first opened in 2016.
Previous WKVI News reports show the splash pad typically opens around Memorial Day weekend and closes around late September or early October.
The splash pad will remain available through Sunday before closing Monday.
