Dolores K. “Dee” Hammerlund, age 91, of Knox, passed away peacefully in her home of 70 years into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, June 27, 2020. Dee grew up in Chicago, Illinois with her parents, Joseph and Katharene Klimczak, seven sisters and two brothers, who have all preceded her in death.

Fred Jensen
Fred was born in LaPorte County Indiana on January 8, 1935. The sixth child of 16 children of Carl Jensen and Ruth Soice Jensen. He enjoyed a happy childhood with all of his brothers and sisters and was very close to all of them. If you asked them about him, they would probably say he was the clown of the family, and loved a good joke. He told plenty of them himself.

Tony Cohn, age 37, of Bass Lake (Knox), passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020. Tony was born September 14, 1982 in Munster, Indiana. He was working as a plumber out of Union Local 210, he was very artistic, even at a young age, was a meticulous carpenter, an avid hunter and fisherman, had a great sense of humor and loved life. He has lots of family and friends that will miss him dearly. He is survived by his parents, Kim Cohn of Crown Point and Jody Burkhardt of Crown Point, his fiancé Kristie Hunter of Knox, a daughter, Abigail Homrich of Wheatfield, brothers, Ryan Cohn (Alicia) of Culver and Nicholas Cohn of Crown Point, nephews, Kayden and Landon Cohn, and many aunts and uncles and one great aunt. A celebration of life service will take place Friday, June 12, 2020 at 1pm, with visitation two hours prior to services, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox.

Bonny M. Olson, 85 of Knox, died Thursday, May 28, 2020, at her home. Bonny was born October 7, 1934, in Knox, IN, to Chester and Lillian (Byrne) Emigh. She attended Knox Community Schools and Indiana University. She maintained a permanent residence in the Knox area all her life and passed away peacefully in her home on Henry Drive where she raised her children and shared many memories with her family and friends. On February 11th, 1956, in Knox, IN, she married Carl Coffin Jr. and they had three children, Curt, Daniel, and Amy.

Joe Jarboe of Bass Lake Indiana passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020. He leaves to cherish their wonderful memories his wife of 28 years, Jan.
