North Judson Police Department

8/27/17- A drive off was reported from Good to Go gas station. After Chief Deputy Thomas reviewed camera footage, the subject was identified and contacted. Payment was then received by Good to Go.

8/30/17- A vehicle was entered into on the 300 block of Franklin Street where stereo equipment was removed and stolen. After speaking with several witnesses, the items were found abandoned in the area. The Indiana State Police lab is reviewing for possible fingerprint matches that were discovered. Investigation pending.

8/31/17- Criminal mischief was reported by Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum. Someone had placed railroad spikes and tie plates on and near the main track. Items were found during routine inspections.

8/31/17- Chief Deputy Thomas responded to a request by Porter County to check on a tip they received. Further investigation revealed a felony warrant subject hiding at a home in the 300 block of Franklin Street. Subject was taken into custody on felony warrants.

9/01/17- Officer Simpson spotted a wanted subject near Talmer Ave. and took him into custody without incident.

9/2/17- Officer Simpson spotted a wanted subject on Lane St. and took him into custody without incident.

9/6/17- Officer Simpson conducted a traffic stop which led to the arrest of a wanted subject out of Texas.

9/7/17- Officer Simpson spotted a wanted subject near Lane St. and took him into custody on warrants out of Pulaski County.

9/7/17- Officer Simpson was dispatched to a fight in progress on Cherry Street. Upon further investigation, a male subject was taken into custody on a warrant out of Porter County.

9/8/17- Chief Deputy Thomas was contacted by State Parole to assist in a home check near the 3000 block of 625 South. During the investigation, a female subject was taken into custody for illegal possession of a firearm by a felon.

9/8/17- Chief Deputy Thomas responded to the North Judson Post Office in reference to harassment and possible criminal charges with the Post Office being the victim. At this time the case is turned over to Federal Postal Inspectors.

9/10/17- A drive off was reported from Good to Go gas station. After review of camera footage a suspect was identified and the case is still open.

9/10/17- Theft from an unlocked vehicle was reported on the 300 E. block of Weninger St.
