10/2/17 A resident arrived at the sheriff’s office to file a report concerning the theft of a handgun.

10/2/17 Emergency responders were called to a property damage accident on U.S. 35 south of 400 S.

10/3/17 A Monterey resident reported the theft of tools from his residence that are now at the pawn shop.

10/3/17 A North Judson resident reported the theft of a ring from her residence.

10/3/17 Police were called to a property damage accident between two vehicles at the corner of Lake Street and Heaton Street in Knox.

10/3/17 Police were in pursuit of a vehicle in the area of 800 South and U.S. 35 in Knox.

10/4/17 A Knox resident filed a report with police stating his toolbox was stolen out of his truck.

10/4/17 A Knox resident reported the theft of a deer stand.

10/4/17 A Walkerton resident reported a garage break-in.

10/4/17 Police were called to U.S. 30 and County Road 50 E. in the Hamlet area for a jack-knifed semi in the middle of the highway.

10/5/17 A North Judson resident reported the theft of her license plate when it was parked on State Road 39 south of State Road 8.

10/5/17 A North Judson resident told police that his vehicles were broken into sometime during the middle of the night and items were stolen.

10/5/17 A North Judson resident told police that some unknown person(s) attempted to break into his shop and stole some items from his vehicles.

10/6/17 A Hamlet resident informed police that several mailboxes were damaged the previous night.

10/6/17 A Hamlet resident told police that several of his irrigation systems were damaged.

10/6/17 A North Judson resident asked to speak to an officer to report stolen tires and a battery charger.

10/6/17 Police were notified of a two vehicle accident on State Road 8 and State Road 23 in Knox.

10/6/17 A resident called in a two-vehicle accident on State Road 10 and U.S. 35 in North Judson.

10/6/17 A North Judson resident reported the theft of her car.

10/7/17 A Knox resident told police that some unknown person(s) broke into his house.

10/7/17 The Bass Lake Fire Department was called to a house fire in the 10600 block of Hackberry Ave. in Monterey. No injuries were reported.

10/7/17 A Monterey resident reported the theft of a red four wheeler.

Arrests:

10/5/17 Kurtis Gielow, 19, of Hebron, arrested on preliminary charges of possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

10/5/17 Luke Botset, 19, of Walkerton, arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operator never licensed, criminal mischief, operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person.

10/7/17 Shannon Watts, 36, of North Judson, arrested on preliminary charges of battery resulting bodily injury (two counts) and resisting law enforcement.

10/7/17 Rodney Snyder, 50, of Hamlet, arrested on preliminary charges of driving while suspended and obstruction of traffic.

10/7/17 Lonzo Jackson, 46, of Knox, arrested on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
