Incidents:

10/08/18 A Knox resident asked for an officer in order to file a theft report.

10/08/18 Emergency responders were called to an accident site at U.S. 30 and 600 E. in Hamlet.

10/09/18 A motorcycle vs. deer accident was reported on 400 S. east of State Road 39 in North Judson.

10/09/18 Extra patrols were requested in the area of 200 S. in Knox due to heavy traffic and speeding vehicles.

10/09/18 Emergency responders were called to a car accident at Toto Road and U.S. 35.

10/09/18 A Knox man asked police to filed a theft report.

10/09/18 A vehicle vs. pole accident was reported in the 9800 block of E. 600 N. in Grovertown. The driver reportedly refused medical treatment.

10/10/18 A roll-over accident was reported at 50 N. and 1025 E. in Knox. No injuries were reported.

10/10/18 A car vs. deer accident was reported on U.S. 35 north of the Yellow River in Knox.

10/10/18 Several calls were received from residents believing unknown persons were attempting to break into their homes.

10/10/18 A resident reported that a vehicle ran off the roadway and caused property damage near Kemco. The vehicle left the scene.

10/10/18 A single-vehicle accident was reported at 900 N. east of U.S. 35. No injuries were reported.

10/11/18 A car vs. deer accident was reported in the 1700 block of south 300 W. in North Judson.

10/12/18 A car vs. deer accident was reported in the area of Range Road and the Yellow River Bridge in Knox.

10/12/18 A woman was stuck in the elevator at the Starke County Courthouse. She told police that the elevator went down and she was able to open the door. Courthouse security was advised of the issue.

10/12/18 A Hanna resident notified police that a person in another vehicle passed her and threw an item out of the window that caused damage to her vehicle.

10/13/18 A Koontz Lake resident told police that four subjects on four-wheelers were shooting paint ball guns at cars on State Road 23 near the new bridge.

10/13/18 A Knox resident reported the theft of a possible handgun.

10/13/18 A two-vehicle accident was reported in the 7700 block of U.S. 30 and 600 E. in Hamlet.

10/13/18 A car vs. deer accident was reported in the area of 800 S. and 200 W. in North Judson.

10/14/18 A vehicle was found in the ditch on 100 N., one-half mile east of U.S. 35 in Knox.

10/14/18 An accident was reported at Toto Road and U.S. 35 in Knox.

10/14/18 A Knox resident told dispatchers that his mailbox as damaged by someone throwing pumpkins.

10/07/18 Kyle Baert, 30, of Knox, arrested on a felony arrest warrant.

10/08/18 Felicia Hill, 31, of Culver, arrested on a misdemeanor arrest warrant.

10/08/18 Omar Torres, 26, of Valparaiso, arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle with an ACE of .15 or more and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

10/08/18 Jacob Garcia, 20, of North Judson, arrested on a violation of work release.

10/11/18 Natasha Bradley, 29, of Knox, arrested on a bench warrant and preliminary charge of theft.

10/11/18 Kayley King, 25, of Culver, arrested on a felony bench warrant.

10/11/18 Shawn Allen, 39, of North Judson, arrested on preliminary charges of burglary, neglect of a dependent and theft.

10/11/18 Tracy Ford, 33 of Knox, arrested on a preliminary charge of interference with reporting a crime.

10/13/18 Jerry Worthington, 55, of Dowagiac, Michigan, was arrested on preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
