The Knox Redevelopment Commission has chosen an option for selling 8 South Main Street. Mayor Dennis Estok told board members this month that Indiana Code allows redevelopment commissions to sell a property to an abutting landowner, as long as it’s worth less than $15,000.

It’s in bad shape,” Mayor Dennis Estok recently told the city council. “But the demoed part of it is out of there, the rot and all that, so at least the other two buildings are safe now. They don’t have to worry about it or anything.”
