Pulaski County is hoping to save money on copier leases by switching to a new provider. The county commissioners Monday approved a five-year lease with Advanced Imaging Solutions for copiers for the sheriff’s office, extension office, and surveyor’s office.
Reid Appointed to Star City Sewer Board
After four months of searching, the Pulaski County Commissioners have finally found a new member for the Star City Sewer Board. Mike Reid was unanimously appointed to the sewer board during Monday’s commissioners meeting. The seat became open last spring, but no one expressed interest in filling it until now.

CAFO Rezoning Request to be Considered by Pulaski County Commissioners Tonight
The Pulaski County Commissioners are expected to make a decision on a confined animal feeding operation tonight. Back in May, the Pulaski County Advisory Plan Commission recommended that the property at 300 South and 700 West be rezoned from General Agriculture to Intensive Agriculture. That would allow for the construction of four wean-to-finish pig production buildings.

Pulaski County Commissioners Discuss Copier Lease
The Pulaski County Commissioners reviewed the copier lease when they met earlier this week.
Commission President Larry Brady told WKVI News that the county experienced hefty overcharges so efforts are being made to correct the problem. The amount of color copies made was the biggest problem. Brady said the staff was not pushing the right button to print in just black and white and they were all color copies. The information has been relayed to everyone so the copier can be utilized properly.
