Locally, Miller’s Merry Manor of Plymouth reported nine resident deaths, 50 residents infected, and 29 staff members infected. LaPorte County is the latest place to order the use of face masks in public. Starting Friday, the LaPorte County Health Department is ordering everyone to wear a face covering when they’re in an indoor area that’s open to the public or an outdoor area where six feet of distance from individuals outside of their households can’t be maintained.
