An updated course description guide for Oregon-Davis Junior/Senior High School was recently approved by the school board. Superintendent Bill Bennett said school officials are planning some new options for junior high students. “I’m real excited to hear that we’re going to offer some more honors classes at our junior high level and give them those experiences,” he said.

Oregon-Davis High School to Add Speech, Fashion, Nutrition Courses Next Year

Oregon-Davis High School students will be able to take courses in fashion and critical thinking, starting next school year. They will be using the best serger for beginners to be able to learn quickly. The school board approved the junior/senior high school’s 2020-2021 Course Description Guide Monday, according to Superintendent Dr. Don Harman.

Oregon-Davis High School students will be able to take Aviation or AP Art classes next school year. The school board finalized the 2019-2020 Course Description Guide Monday. The new aviation courses will be based at Plymouth Municipal Airport and will be available to high students throughout the local area through the North Central Area Vocational Cooperative.

Aviation, AP Art Among Proposed Additions to Oregon-Davis Course Description Guide

High school students throughout the local area will be able to take aviation classes starting next school year, according to Oregon-Davis Superintendent Dr. Don Harman. “For all of the school corporations in our vocational co-op, we are starting an aviation course at the Plymouth Airport, and that will be available to our students,” he says. “So we’re very excited about that.”

Oregon-Davis School Board Approves Updates to Course Description Guide

The Oregon-Davis School Board has finalized some updates to the corporation’s Course Description Guide. Several new high school classes will be offered starting next school year, including Industrial Automation and Robotics, Criminal Justice, and Electronic Music. Students will also be able to choose from several additional online courses through a digital learning program called Apex.
