The Eastern Pulaski School Board got an update last week from Media Center Director Karen Butler. For the past three years, she’s led the high school’s Warrior Academy program and added the media center into her list of responsibilities a few months ago.
The Eastern Pulaski Community School Corporation now has a strategic plan, but how some of its suggestions will be paid for remains to be seen. The five-year plan was approved by the school board Monday, after hearing a presentation over it the month before.
The Eastern Pulaski School Board is looking for a new member. Board President Terri Johnston, who represents Van Buren Township, is stepping down because she’s moving out of the area, according to Superintendent Dan Foster. A new Van Buren Township representative is being sought to serve the remainder of Johnston’s term, which runs through the end of 2020.
