The list of officials for the Town of Hamlet will largely stay the same in 2020. During the town council’s first meeting of the year Wednesday, Town Marshal Clint Norem, Street Superintendent Kevin Leinbach, and Town Attorney Martin Bedrock were all reappointed. So were Water Operator Jason Cox and Wastewater Operator Jason Clemons.

Hamlet Officials Move Forward With Demolition Plans
The Hamlet Town Board last night took action to accept a proposal from JD Excavating to raze two abandoned houses in the town. The work will begin pending the building inspector’s final approval.
Discussion followed a resident’s inquiry about providing Hamlet residents access to a Bank ATM near the Town Hall. An alternative plan also under discussion was for the town itself to purchase am automatic teller machine to provide the service. Continue reading
