Knox School Board Hires Architects to Conduct Facility Study
The Knox Community School Corporation is moving ahead with a facilities study. The school board voted Monday to hire architectural firm Schmidt Associates to do the work, according to Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart. He says the study will cost about $21,000.
Knox Schools to See Savings on Insurance Costs
The Knox Community School Corporation expects to save some money on insurance costs. “Liberty Mutual Insurance is our liability and property insurance carrier, and they have dropped their rates slightly from what we were paying last year,” Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart told the school board last week. Knox School Board Hears Architects’ Proposals for Facilities Study
The Knox Community School Corporation may be asking residents for a tax increase to fund facility upgrades in the coming years. During a school board work session last week, Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart explained that if school officials decide a referendum is needed, he wants to be ready to do it in May or November of 2019.
