The Knox Water Department media replacement project is complete. Peerless Midwest was contracted to do the work at a cost of $147,000.

Well rehabilitation is currently underway in the City of Knox. Back in September, the board of works agreed to let well two be cleaned and refurbished. At the time, Water Superintendent Tim Lindewald said it was running about 150 to 200 gallons per minute under par, causing more wear and tear.
