Starke County Police Still Looking for Koontz Lake Robbery Suspects
The Starke County Sheriff’s Department continues investigating an armed robbery at a Koontz Lake gas station Monday night. Sheriff Bill Dulin says that as of Tuesday afternoon, his department has gotten numerous tips, but so far, “nothing has produced solid information that would lead to a suspect.”

A Michigan City man was arrested Friday evening after reportedly robbing the Marathon Gas Station at 303 W Talmer Avenue in North Judson.

Plymouth Police Investigating Gas Station Burglary
Plymouth Police Department officers are investigating a break-in at the Marathon Gas Station at 2405 N. Michigan Street.
On Monday morning at 5:48 a.m. ET, unknown suspects smashed in the front door of the business, entered the establishment and stole cigarettes. They then exited the store and left in an unknown vehicle.
Plymouth police revealed that the suspects had their faces covered so their identities were not immediately known.

Passed Out Motorists Arrested
Two Pulaski County residents were arrested after police found them reportedly passed out at the Marathon gas station in Medaryville on Sunday.
Police pulled up to the vehicle that was parked at the pumps. Officers woke up the occupants, Finas Conley, 43, of Francesville and Tyson Matthews, 21, of Medaryville, and both were incoherent. Police found a plate with a white powdery substance in Conley’s lap and a silver pill container. Also found was a straw with a white powdery substance on it and inside it. The pair were allegedly in illegal possession of prescription medication at the time of the incident and they were in the act of snorting it. They were detained and taken to the Pulaski County Jail.
