SCYC Members Selling Butter Braids
Members of the Starke County Youth Club are taking part in a tasty fundraiser to help support the organization’s after school activities. Butter braid sales wrap up Tuesday, Oct. 11. Oregon-Davis School Board Works to Develop Strategic Plan
The Oregon-Davis School Corporation is working to identify a few items in their buildings that will require future replacement.
Following last Monday’s school board meeting, members toured the school corporation to discuss what should be included in a future “Strategic Plan.” The goal is to estimate the cost of replacing items essential to operating the schools, and estimating their lifespan.

O-D Officials Analyzing ISTEP Data
School corporations are waiting for guidance from the state before trying to assign too much meaning to the 2014 ISTEP scores released last week. They showed a decline of roughly 20 percent statewide over the prior year.
