The Knox School Board approved the corporation’s 2019-2020 school calendar last week. Students’ first day of class will be August 6, 2019, with the last day on May 22, 2020, unless make-up days need to be used. Students will once again get two weeks off for both Christmas break and spring break, as well as one week for fall break.

Plymouth School Bus Driver Charged in Hit and Run
A Plymouth School Bus driver faces charges in connection with a hit-and-run accident. It happened on Friday, Oct. 17 in the 16000 block of Cook Lake Trail and was reported to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department at 7:41 a.m. A resident told a Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy her vehicle was parked in her driveway at the time.

Plymouth School Registration Information Released
Plymouth Community School officials have announced the registration schedule for the 2014-2015 school year.
All schools will register at Plymouth High School on July 30 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., from noon to 3 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. On July 31, registration is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET. School officials recommend that you park in the north lot and enter through door 5.

West Central High School Named Four Star School
The West Central High School was recently named a Four Star School by the Indiana Department of Education.
“We’re very happy this accomplishment was made,” said Superintendent Charles Mellon. “It actually reflects back to the 2009-2010 school year. I just sent an email out to the staff congratulating them, as well as the students, for this accomplishment.”
