Plymouth Woman Arrested For Criminal Trespass

Plymouth police arrested a 42-year-old woman after she refused to leave a Plymouth residence on Friday.

Police were called to 619 W. Garro St. in Plymouth in response to a report of domestic situation. When police arrived, they learned that a verbal argument had taken place between Jennifer Miller and her mother, who wanted Miller out of the home immediately. Officers helped to remove Miller from the residence, but it wasn’t long before things escalated.

Plymouth Police Arrest Three For Theft

Plymouth police officers were called to several theft calls this week.

A Knox woman was arrested after Walmart officials called police to the store. Vicki Geruska of Knox has reportedly changed prices on articles and then attempted to pay for the merchandise at the lower price. She was arrested on a preliminary charge of Theft.

Two Plymouth teenagers were arrested early yesterday morning after they allegedly shoplifted items from Kroger. Amanda L. Whitt, 18, and Katlynn Morgan, 19, were taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail. They face preliminary charges of Theft.

Two Arrested For Theft In Plymouth

Plymouth police officers arrested two people in separate theft incidents Sunday afternoon.

Sharon Ream, 51 of Plymouth, was arrested after a restaurant manager complained to police that she was in the business, helped herself to a soda without paying, refused to leave and was smoking inside the facility. Ream was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of Theft, a Class D Felony.

Plymouth officers were later dispatched to Walmart after a man was allegedly caught shoplifting. Brandon Patrick, 21, of Plymouth was arrested on a preliminary charge of Theft. He was taken to the Marshall County Jail.

Plymouth Police Make Two Arrests This Weekend

The Plymouth Police Department was busy over the Veterans Day weekend.

Eighteen-year-old Joshua M. Mehling of Plymouth was arrested late Saturday night after an officer conducted a traffic stop and he was found to be in possession of alcohol and a controlled substance. He was a passenger in the vehicle. He was arrested on preliminary charges of Minor in Possession of Alcohol, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Ricardo Soto, 43, of Plymouth, was arrested early Saturday morning after Plymouth police conducted an investigation in an alleged battery incident. Soto was arrested on preliminary charges of Domestic Battery and Failure to Identify.

Plymouth Man Arrested For Child Molestation

A Plymouth man was arrested early Friday morning on a charge of Child Molestation.

On Oct. 18, the Plymouth Police Department received a report from the Department of Child Services regarding a 15-year-old female who had become pregnant and had the baby when she was 13. An investigation was conducted and it was learned that she was a victim of child molestation.

A warrant was issued in this case for the arrest of 24-year-old Adam M. Macias on Nov. 8 and he was located and arrested on a charge of Child Molestation. He is lodged in the Marshall County Jail on $10,000 cash bond.

A Plymouth man was arrested early Friday morning on a charge of Child Molestation.

On October 18, the Plymouth Police Department received a report from the Department of Child Services regarding a 15-year-old female who had become pregnant and had the baby when she was 13. An investigation was conducted and it was learned that she was a victim of child molestation.

A warrant was issued in this case for the arrest of 24-year-old Adam M. Macias on November 8 and he was located and arrested on a charge of Child Molestation. He is lodged in the Marshall County Jail on $10,000 cash bond.

Identities of Men Injured in Three-Vehicle Accident in Marshall Co. Released

The identities of the men involved in a three-vehicle accident yesterday morning in Marshall County have been released.

According to a news release from the Plymouth Police Department, the accident occurred around 7:22 a.m. on U.S. 30 at the intersection of Pioneer Drive, when an eastbound pickup truck driven by Ethan Barlass rear-ended a box truck. The box truck, driven by Thomas Curtis, had just begun to move in traffic and the impact caused the box truck to strike a semi trailer in front of it. The box truck then flipped on its side.

Barlass was airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend while Curtis was transported by ambulance to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth. The semi driver was uninjured.

Accident in Marshall County Injures Two

One person was air-lifted to the hospital and another taken by ambulance after a crash in Marshall County this morning.

According to our reporting partners at WNDU, a pick-up truck carrying a large, heavy semi-engine in its truck bed rear-ended a white box truck at the intersection of U.S. 30 and Pioneer Road. Both were headed eastbound on U.S. 30 at the time. The crash caused the engine to come forward and slam into the pick-up truck’s cab.

Three Arrests Reported Tuesday by Plymouth Police

Officers from the Plymouth Police Department arrested three people Tuesday in two different incidents.

Police were called to investigate a hit and run accident at Work One in Plymouth around 11 a.m. ET. A surveillance video showed that Constance Bradley, 24 of Plymouth, backed into a parked car that caused extensive damage. She then left the area. Officers later located her and arrested her on a preliminary charge of Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident.

Plymouth Man Arrested for Theft, Fleeing Police

A Plymouth man was arrested Saturday after a shoplifting incident.

Plymouth police officers were called to Martin’s Supermarket in reference to a theft incident. Officers arrived on scene and the suspect, 24-year-old Garrett Gilpin, fled from them in a vehicle. He was apprehended a short time later in the vicinity of Suter Road in Plymouth.

Gilpin was arrested on preliminary charges of Theft, Resisting Law Enforcement, and Driving While Suspended with a Prior Conviction.

Two Arrested in Marshall County for Separate Battery Incidents

Marshall County Police arrested two for battery in two separate incidents early Sunday morning.

Deputies were called to the Inwood Mobile Home Park where they discovered James R. Mulcare, 33, of Inwood had battered a woman at the residence. Mulcare was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury.

Later that morning, Plymouth police and Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies were called to Club Omega on a call of battery. After an investigation, police learned that Joseph T. Rodriguez of Plymouth allegedly hit another man at the club. He had left the area and was later found at the Mayflower Tavern. He was arrested on a preliminary charge of Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury.

Two Arrested For Theft at Plymouth Walmart

Officers from the Plymouth Police Department seem to make a theft arrest from Walmart at least once a week and Monday was no exception.

Walmart Loss Prevention officials detained Thomas Slattery of LaCrosse and Jennifer Morales of Homewood, Illinois for shoplifting. After an investigation, the pair were transported to the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of Theft.

Police searched Slattery before being booked into the jail and he was found to be in possession of controlled substances. Slattery was additionally charged with Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance.

Road Rage Causes Chaos at Plymouth Laundromat

A typical trip to the laundromat nearly turned into violence Thursday morning when a Plymouth couple were approached by an enraged driver.

John and Janice Unruh of Plymouth were heading to the Quick Clean Laundromat on Jefferson Street in Plymouth when an aggressive driver nearly struck their car. At that point, Janice said, the man jumped out of his vehicle and started screaming at them. She said they were scared the man was going to turn violent, so her husband took out his gun and laid it in his lap, telling the infuriated man that he was armed.

Plymouth Police Arrest Suspect For Manufacturing Meth

One person was arrested after Plymouth police found the suspect in the process of manufacturing methamphetamine.

Officers were called to 321 W. LaPorte in Plymouth after Tanya Mullins was found in the basement of the home without permission. Mullins was found with a one-pot methamphetamine lab. It was determined that she broke into the residence to manufacture the drug.

Crockett Arrested on Two Warrants After Trespassing in Starke County Home

Plymouth police arrested an Indianapolis man who had two active Starke County warrants for Dealing in Methamphetamine and Possession of Chemical Reagents.

The dealing charge reportedly stems from an incident on Sept. 6 when Derrick Crockett was seen in a home on Tippecanoe Road in Starke County along with two other people who were not supposed to be in the residence. The homeowner along with his mother who found the three in the home smelled a strong chemical odor coming from the basement and gained entry to the home. Crockett and two other suspects were told to leave the residence and Starke County police were called to the scene.

Indy Man Arrested in Plymouth On Warrant For Dealing Meth

An Indianapolis man was arrested Friday after Plymouth police received a tip that he was at a local restaurant.

Derrick C. Crockett, 23 of Indianapolis, had two Starke County warrants for Dealing in Methamphetamine and Possession of Chemical Reagents. Police took him into custody without incident and booked him into the Marshall County Jail. He was later transported to the Starke County Jail for a court hearing to be held this week.

Plymouth Man Arrested For Battery, Criminal Recklessness

A Plymouth man was arrested Friday after pushing his landlord and burning paper on the property.

Plymouth police officers were called to 215 1/2 W. Adams St. after Jeff Birchmeier called police about an incident with tenant Robert Warner. Birchmeier had gone to the residence to confront Warner about burning paper near the residence and, during the argument, Warner pushed him.

The officer took information for the battery report before leaving the scene. Police were called back to the residence after another fire was reported.

Warner was arrested on preliminary charges of Battery and Criminal Recklessness.

North Judson Woman Arrested for Theft

A North Judson woman was arrested Friday after allegedly stealing items from a Plymouth business.

Plymouth police were called to Lowe’s after employees reportedly saw the woman take items from the store. After an investigation, 31-year-old Janel Minix was arrested on a preliminary charge of Theft. She was transported to the Marshall County Jail and was issued a notice to appear for an initial hearing in Marshall County Superior Court 1 on October 9.

Bowen Center Patient Arrested For Battery

A Bowen Center patient was arrested Saturday after allegedly battering two staff members.

Leta McNeal reportedly hit and kicked staff members while staying at the Bowen Center in Plymouth. Officials called the Plymouth Police Department to report the incident and McNeal was arrested on a preliminary charge of Battery and taken to the Marshall County Jail. The staff members involved sustained only minor injuries.

McNeal will appear for an initial hearing in Marshall County Superior Court II on Sept. 18 and was given a $750 cash bond.
