Pulaski County Fair Organizers Working to Recognize 4-H Members during Scaled-Back Event
Recognizing Pulaski County’s 4-H members while also avoiding a spike in COVID-19 cases is the goal of this year’s scaled-back Pulaski County Fair. Last month, organizers announced that livestock shows and some other competitions were still expected to take place, but they’d be closed to the public.

The Pulaski County 4-H Fair continues today with judging of livestock, poultry and open class exhibits this morning, the cornhole tournament at noon, the 3-on-3 basketball tournament at 12:30 p.m., the 4-H Recognition Program and Volunteer Appreciation event at 3 p.m., the Miss Pulaski County Meet and Greet dinner at 5 p.m., the dog agility show at 5 p.m. and the Tractor Pull at 6 p.m.

The exhibit buildings are open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with a healthy snacks presentation by Mandy Medbourne at 1 p.m. today. At 7:30 p.m. tonight, the 4-H Petroleum Power Operators Contest begins. Test your skills at driving a tractor!

Winamac Park Board Updated on Town Park Athletic Facilities
Winamac residents will finally be able to play pickleball in the town park. Pickleball is a racket sport, with smaller dimensions and equipment than tennis.
Winamac Park Board Revisits Restroom Plans
The Pulaski County Fairgrounds will soon get updated restrooms. Organizers of the Pulaski County 4-H Fair and Northern Indiana Power from the Past told the Winamac Park Board last week they plan to work together to improve accessibility at the facilities. Continue reading
