Pulaski County Commissioners to Consider Documents for IT Services Tonight

The Pulaski County Commissioners will consider a couple of documents related to IT services tonight. Back in December, the commissioners started the process of hiring Roeing IT Solutions. Tonight, the company’s policy and procedure guidelines, along with an agreement for the first phase of technology remediation will be up for the commissioners’ approval.

Number of Pulaski County Computers to Be Upgraded to Windows 10 Triples

Updating Pulaski County’s computers will be a much bigger project than initially thought.

Earlier this month, Auditor Laura Wheeler told the county commissioners that 11 to 15 computers were still using Windows 7, which is being discontinued. This week, she said that number is actually closer to 45, and she still hadn’t heard from all of the departments.

A representative from the Roeing Corporation is scheduled to present IT outsource information, while Mark Harvey will discuss a request to complete an IT assessment.
