Eastern Pulaski School Board members approved the 2018-2019 school calendar when they met Monday night.
Superintendent Dan Foster said it is fairly similar to this year’s calendar with the one big difference being the length of fall break. Foster explained that in the past, for fall break in the month of October they only allowed for Monday and Friday off. The West Central School Board approved a school calendar for the 2015-2016 school year.
Superintendent Don Street said the calendar is similar to this year’s calendar.
“Our teachers will be starting school on the tenth of August and the students will be arriving on Thursday the 13th of August. We also had a little discussion concerning balanced calendars of the schools in the area that are looking at, if you will, a semi-balanced calendar,” said Street.
The Knox Community School Board members approved the 2014-2015 school calendar during their meeting this week.
Superintendent A.J. Gappa said the calendar is similar to this year’s except another contingency day has been added.
