Financial Advisor Mitch Semans told the town council last week that he recently purchased and set up shop in the building formerly occupied by Dr. Richard Lochner. Semans said he’s also renting office space to a nurse practitioner, who plans to see patients in Hamlet one day a week.

Knox officials are looking toward spring. They encourage contractors interested in participating in the city’s Residential/Business Sidewalk Replacement Program to register with the city.
Contractors need to go to the Knox Planning Commission office at 101 West Washington Street between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday until April 10. Proof of insurance must be provided.
This is a chance for residents to repair sidewalks at half the cost. If you have a troublesome area that would benefit from this program, Mayor Rick Chambers is accepting requests now from homeowners and business owners. The application deadline is Monday, April 15.
