More electronic signs may be coming to the Knox Community Schools campus. Back in March, the school corporation installed a message board at the corner of Main Street and Redskin Trail. Now, the Knox Board of Works has agreed to let the middle school add its own sign in the city’s right of way along Main Street.

The Winamac Park Board is revisiting plans to upgrade the landscaping near the entrance to the fairgrounds, but getting it done it time for this year’s 4-H Fair may prove to be a challenge. Last year, the park board agreed to let the Pulaski County Jr. Leaders replace the entrance sign, remove most of the bushes surrounding it, and replace the wooden posts used as edging.

New Hamlet Street Signs to Recognize Yellowstone Trail, Encourage Safe Driving
The Town of Hamlet looks to recognize some of its history, with the installation of a street sign downtown. The sign commemorating the route of the Yellowstone Trail was donated to the town by Juanita Ketcham, one of the organizers of the town’s annual Yellowstone Trail Festival. Continue reading
Culver Seeks More Information Prior to Church Sign Decision
The Culver Town Council is hoping to gather more information from a property owner before granting a sign in the right-of-way next to their property.
St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church has requested placing a sign at the corner of College and Lakeshore Drive. The site is already home to a sign for St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church.
