An 84-year-old man reported missing from Winamac has been found safe in Carroll County. A Silver Alert had been issued for James Edmund Kuhn. Sheriff Jeff Richwine said Monday evening that Kuhn appeared to be okay but will be checked out by EMS.
A LaPorte woman is missing.
A Silver Alert was issued Thursday in an investigation into the disappearance of MaryAnn Elizabeth Llewellyn. She is 50 years old, Caucasian, 5’4” tall, 98 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

The statewide Silver Alert for a White County man has been cancelled. Willard F. Farmer of Chalmers has been located, according to the Indiana State Police. The White County Sheriff’s Office requested cancellation of the alert.
A statewide Silver Alert has been issued for a White County man. Willard F. Farmer, 77, was last seen Sunday, Aug. 11 at 2:05 p.m. He’s from Chalmers, which is about 20 miles northeast of Lafayette. Farmer is described as a white male, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds with gray hair and hazel eyes. He was wearing an orange plaid short-sleeve shirt, blue pants, possibly a blue jacket and a baseball cap. Farmer may be disoriented and could require medical attention. He’s believed to be driving a small four-door silver 2006 Chevrolet SUV with the Indiana license plate D745AD. If you have any information on Willard F.
