The Food Bank of Northern Indiana will once again visit Knox tomorrow, August 25. A USDA mobile food distribution will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon CDT at the Knox United Methodist Church at 201 South Shield Street, according to the food bank’s website. Dry goods and frozen food items will be available for free on a first come, first served basis for those in need of food assistance.

Those in need of food assistance have a number of options for help this week. Tomorrow, April 21, the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ will host a drive-through distribution from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. EDT at Ancilla College in Donaldson. They plan to give out more than 500 boxes, with more than 30 pounds of food each.
