Culver Town Council Approves Support of Proposed Fiber Optic Survey

Culver Redevelopment Commission President Rich West approached the Culver Town Council this week with a statement of support with moving forward to distribute an online survey to attract a fiber optic project.

West said the CRC has been working with Marshall County Fiber, LLC in extending high speed fiber optic internet services to the residents and business owners in the Town of Culver and Union Township. A simple, six-question survey will be distributed through the email group “Town, Gown and Lake” and through the Town of Culver and the Culver Visitor Center websites to show the need for such services.

The letter of support names the Culver Redevelopment Commission, Culver Town Council and Union Township as supporters of the project showing a greater enticement to attract services.

Culver and Union Township residents who fill out the survey will be asked to provide their local address in order to show a greater need.

The Culver Town Council unanimously approved the provided letter of support for the project. The survey will be available soon.
