West Central School Board Approves Professional ELearning Day

The West Central School Board members approved a professional eLearning day for Wednesday, Sept. 26 of this year. Superintendent Don Street said this will give students and teachers a chance to initiate processes involved in an eLearning day.

“Our teachers will be in school that day and they’ll be involved in staff development, working specifically on curriculum development,” explained Street. “Going into the 2018-2019 school year when we miss school we are going to eLearning days so this will give an opportunity for people to practice that and be prepared for eLearning.”

Street said previously that if the school is closed for multiple days in a row this coming school year, the built-in snow makeup days will be implemented.
