A man accused of killing his father and his father’s girlfriend at a home in Winamac in March will appear for a final Pre-Trial hearing in Pulaski Circuit Court on Tuesday, Jan. 29.

Ross Stacy is being held in the Pulaski County Jail on two counts of murder. A police investigation found that on March 9, 59-year-old Loss Stacy, of Winamac, and 56-year-old Mary Kurek, of Gary, were found dead inside a home in the 3900 block of West County Road 200 North in Winamac from apparent gunshot wounds. Ross Stacy was arrested the following day.

Stacy’s trial is set for the week of March 4, 2019.

A Pre-Trial hearing in the case of 47-year-old Danny Clark is set for Thursday, Nov. 15. He is charged with murder and a Level 2 Felony charge of arson resulting in serious bodily injury. The charges stem from a fire at a home in the 9000 block of County Road 300 North in Medaryville on Aug. 13 where William O’Neil Toosley’s body was found inside the home. Toosley’s manner of death was blunt force trauma to the head.
