The Knox School Board will consider the termination of Corporation Treasurer Dawn Bailey tonight. She had been serving as treasurer and business manager since April of last year, following the retirement of Sherry Fort.
No replacement has been suggested in the list of 2019 appointments, according to the advance meeting agenda. Deputy Treasurer Michelle Dolezal and Board Attorney Bill Kaminski are both recommended for reappointment.
Reelected school board members Gary Dulin, Mary Lynn Ritchie, and Mike Yankauskas will take the oath of office, and the board will reorganize for 2019. The school board is also expected to finalize a number of policy updates recommended by policy consultant NEOLA.
Tonight’s Knox School Board meeting starts at 6:30 in the Knox Schools Administrative Office, followed by a board of finance meeting.
