Ross Stacy Trial Moved to 2020

A trial for a Winamac man charged with two counts of murder has been pushed to January 13, 2020 in Pulaski Circuit Court. 

Ross Stacy, 32, is accused of murdering his father, 59-year-old Loss Stacy, of Winamac, and 56-year-old Mary Kurek, of Gary on Friday, March 9, 2018.  Police say Kurek was the girlfriend of Loss Stacy.  The pair was reportedly found dead inside the Winamac home Loss Stacy was renting from his brother in the 3900 block of W. County Road 200 N. in Pulaski County. According to the Pulaski County Coroner’s Office, an autopsy determined that they died from gunshot wounds.

Ross Stacy remains in the Pulaski County Jail with no bond.
