Six Arrested in Drug Warrant Sweep

Six people were taken into custody as officers from several police agencies participated a warrant sweep on Wednesday.

The warrants were served in Marshall County, Starke County and Allen County. 

Knox residents Megan Bickel, Austin Owens and Michael Byer were arrested on suspicion of dealing in methamphetamine, while Sabrina Cahillane is accused of dealing in a narcotic drug. 

Travis Mechling of Lapaz and Eric Lovely of Culver were each arrested on a charge of dealing in a narcotic drug.   

The suspects were housed in the Marshall County Jail and the Allen County Jail.

Bonds range from $25,000 to $50,000. 

Members of the Marshall County Undercover Narcotics Investigation Team were assisted by the Starke County Sheriff’s Department, Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Allen County Sheriff’s Department, and the Indiana State Police. 

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
