West Central School Board Approves Bus Purchase

The West Central School Board members took action last week to purchase two new buses, according to Superintendent Dan Zylstra.

“They’re 78-passenger buses and they’re very similar to the ones that we purchased last year,” said Zylstra.  “They include a lot of the newer technology like stop arm cameras so we can get video of any cars that pass our stopped buses with the stop arm engaged.  They also have interior cameras. They have all of the appropriate safety infrastructure that school buses have.”

The total purchase price for both buses was $184,000.
