The Knox School Board will reorganize for 2020 when they meet tonight.
In addition to choosing a president, vice-president, and secretary, board members will be asked to reappoint several officials for another year, including Treasurer Kasey Clark, Deputy Treasurer Michelle Dolezal, and Board Attorney Bill Kaminski. The school board will also consider a resolution authorizing the treasurer to pay financial obligations in a timely manner.
In other business, an agreement that would allow Starke Hospital to use Knox Middle School as an alternate care site in the event of a disaster will be presented for the board’s approval. Board members are also expected to accept a $640 donation from Traffic Control Specialists.
Tonight’s Knox School Board meeting starts at 6:30 in the Knox Schools Administrative Office, followed by the annual meeting of the school corporation’s board of finance. After choosing officers, board members will review the corporation’s investment policy and the treasurer’s investment report.
