Second COVID-19 Death Reported in Indiana

A Johnson County resident is the second person in Indiana to succumb to complications from COVID-19.

Indiana State Department of Health officials say the patient was 60 years old who was hospitalized.  No other information will be released due to privacy laws.

Six new positive cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed by the Indiana State Department of Health, the CDC and private laboratories.  The new cases involve two residents in Lake County, two in Franklin County and two in Marion County.  There are now 30 cases in Indiana.  Previously, the ISDH announced one positive case in La Porte County and one in St. Joseph County.
