Pulaski Commissioners to Discuss EMS Collections Suspension, Arens Field Mower Purchase

Pulaski County Commissioners: Mike McClure, Jerry Locke, Kenny Becker

Pulaski County Emergency Medical Services may temporarily suspend collections due to the COVID-19 pandemic. EMS Director Brandon DeLorenzo is expected to discuss the issue with the county commissioners this morning.

The commissioners will also consider the purchase of a new mower for Arens Field. Board of Aviation Commissioners President Jeremy Wegner told the county council last week that the airport plans to buy a Kubota diesel mower from Agrisol Equipment at a cost of $15,400 using the airport’s hanger rental fee revenues. Council members agreed to consider an additional appropriation request in May, but not without expressing concern with the cost and what other expenses that money may be used for.

This morning’s Pulaski County Commissioners meeting starts at 8:30 EDT. It’s closed to the public due to COVID-19 concerns, but residents can watch it live on the Pulaski County, Indiana, Government Facebook page.
