The Knox City Council members reviewed the 2022 salary ordinance Tuesday night.
Mayor Dennis Estok said all employees will be getting a three percent raise in 2022, which is one percent higher than what was able to be given in 2021. He said the employees are deserving of the increase.
Elected officials will receive a one percent increase, which is the first increase for elected officials in a couple of years.
The council members approved the 2022 salary ordinance with a unanimous vote.
