The annual Starke County Youth Club Radiothon is set for tomorrow (May 3)!
Executive Director Irene Szakonyi will be live on WKVI from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. CT to talk about the many programs offered at the Starke County Youth Club for the over 300 students from around the county who participate. After-school homework help is offered, as well as many enrichment programs and activities to engage kids in a variety of real-life and hands-on experiences.
There will be plenty of special guests throughout the fundraising campaign, including kids describing their involvement in the organization and what skills and accomplishments they have made, as well as dedicated supporters of the Starke County Youth Club.
During tomorrow’s Radiothon, pledges will be accepted to continue the efforts of the organization to keep kids in these unique circle. Those pledges of any denomination may be made by calling 574-772-6241 during the event tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. CT. If the chance to make the pledge cannot be made during the Radiothon, a donation can be submitted online at www.thescyc.org.
