
Knox Board of Public Works will hold a regular meeting tomorrow, Wednesday August 27th, at 9:30am Central Time at Knox City Hall, which is located at 101 West Washington Street.
This meeting is open to the public. According to the tentative agenda for the meeting, after it is called to order and any necessary amendments are made to the agenda, the board will vote on the approval of the minutes from their last regular meeting, which took place on July 23rd. Following a report from the superintendent, there will be two bid openings – one for a kayak launch at Wythogan Park, and one for a water and sewer extension on US highway 35.
The Police Department will discuss with the board the disposal of surplus property, as will Sewer & Wastewater. Fire Department will discuss a vehicle purchase.
The Board of Public Works will then review issues for several addresses in Knox, including on John Street, Lake Street, Potter Street, Lewis Drive, new York Street, McGill Street, and Elm Street. An issue at South Brook II will be dismissed.
Following these items on the agenda, the meeting will be adjourned.
