
Thunderstorms during the early morning hours this Tuesday, August 19th led to Starke County’s 911 lines being rendered non-operational for some of the day.
The announcement was made at 7:04am Central Time, with the Starke County Sheriff’s office noting that during the downtime, emergency calls would be rerouted to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office non-emergency lines remained functional throughout the outage.
Around 1pm, the Starke County Sheriff’s Office announced that their 911 services had been fully restored, as well as thanked Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office for assisting in handling Starke County’s 911 calls during the outage.
