The Winamac Town Council considered three tax abatement renewals when members met last Monday.
One of the abatement renewals was for Standard Properties and the other two were for Standard Integrated Solutions. Town Manager Brad Zellers commented that everything appeared to be in order.

On Monday, the school board accepted a $300 grant for the Art Department from the Cheryl Lyn Welter Family Charitable Foundation, as well as a $350 grant from the Northern Indiana Community Foundation to help give kindergarten teachers resources for art projects, according to Superintendent Dr. Don Harman.
