AAA Predicts Increase in Memorial Day Travel
More than 820,000 Hoosiers are expected to travel over the Memorial Day weekend, according to projections from the AAA Hoosier Motor Club. That’s an increase of more than 16,000 from last year. AAA says just over 747,000 of them will drive, while nearly 41,000 will fly. Continue reading

The owner of a house on Mound Street in Knox that has been deemed unsafe has 60 days to tear it down following action yesterday by the city’s Board of Works. They acted on building inspector Bruce Williams’ recommendation to condemn the property at 353 East Mound Street.
